Tenacious D has done it again. Their newest album, Rize of the Fenix, was released May 15, 2012. It has been six years since the release of their not so successful album, The Pick of Destiny. Jack Black and Kyle Gass’ vulgar yet hilarious lyrics, have managed to please several critics. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. I personally don’t have a preference between their three albums. I was lucky enough to attend one of their concerts back in July, 2012. They put on a great show and I couldn’t wait to buy Rize of the Fenix.
This isn’t the most recent rock news, but I got my blog title from one of The D’s songs and thought my first post should be about them. Here’s a link to, The Metal by Tenacious D. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBtjSHm3ZH0
What you should do is at the end of the review put a rating of whatever band, song, album, etc you are reviewing
ReplyDeletethey better plaaaayyy the best sooonnggg in the world! Or I'll eat their souls!
ReplyDeleteReally though, I will. But I agree with Mr. Ragequit. You should have ratings. Like a so-and-so stars/smiley faces/semi trucks out of so-and-so stars/smiley faces/semi trucks.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll make sure to have ratings.
